| Next we visited a lovely old hacienda housing the Santana Brewing Company. Yes, the microbrewery craze has even reached Quito, and the process is also coming full circle because they plan to begin marketing their products in the USA. |

| On our last evening in the capital we visited the Mindalae Museum, where we also had our farewell dinner. |

| Finally, it was on to the airport for the midnight flight to Atlanta, and from there back to Minneapolis by mid-morning. |
